The reason razors cause ingrown hairs and spots is simple: the blade rubs directly against the skin, cutting hairs at or just below the surface, which causes them to curl inwards. Hera has been designed to keep the blade completely away from your skin – so the hairs are cut cleanly at the surface, without the trauma that causes ingrown hairs. How do I use the Hera razor?

1. Prepare your skin
Wash and rinse the area to be shaved to remove any dirt.

If possible, gently exfoliate your skin the day before or the day before that (to avoid irritation).

2. Choose the right attachment
Shaving head for large areas (legs, arms).
Trimmer attachment for the bikini line or touch-ups.

3. Use the razor gently
Don’t press down: let the device glide naturally.
Shave with the grain if your skin is sensitive, then against the grain if you want a very close result.
Gently stretch the skin in delicate areas (underarms, bikini line).

4. Use it on wet or dry skin depending on the model
Waterproof: ideal in the shower or with shaving gel.
Non-waterproof: use only on dry skin.

5. Go slowly
Move slowly to avoid nicks and redness.
Do not make unnecessary multiple passes over the same area.

6. Clean the razor immediately
Rinse the head under water (if waterproof).
